We are just 2km outside of the thermal spa town of Gambassi, following the via Francigena as it passes through the middle of our vineyards.
If you continue walking our very scenic section of the via Francigena, then you will reach the famous medieval towers of San Gimignano in just over 2 hours, or a 20 minute countryside drive.
Nestled, very privately, in the rolling hills, we are also less than 1 hour's drive to all the major Tuscan cities; Florence, Pisa & Siena. All 7 of Tuscany's UNESCO world heritage sites are easily accessible day trips, in addition to many other nature or cultural activities in Tuscany, making us your perfect home away from home to relax, explore or enjoy a delicious glass of our wine, in our garden or next to the pool.
from Hong Kong to Tuscany
We married in 2014 and had both been working full time in Hong Kong for over 18 years. Scott as a pilot for Cathay Pacific Airways, Angus as a civil servant. Both with a passion of travelling, exploring and scuba diving, we have been lucky enough to travel to many places around the globe.
In 2015 we 'discovered' Tuscany and instantly fell in love with its beauty, history, food, weather, wine and friendly residents. We knew it was a place where we would want to make our home and continue the next phase of our life together. In February of 2020, we bought this charming farmhouse and vineyard.
Since then we have been performing a major renovation of the farm and buildings to bring it up to a fine, international standard. We can't wait to welcome you when we open in 2024.
